Are Tide Laundromats owned by Tide?

Tide Laundromat is locally owned and operated through our franchising agreement with Tide. 

Is a Tide Laundromat priced like an ordinary laundromat?

Pricing is left at the discretion of individual store owners. Detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets are included with every load. This high-quality service and convenience comes from the brand names you know and trust: Tide, Gain, Downy, and Bounce.

I prefer unscented laundry detergent and softener. Do you have any options for me?

Yes! Tide Laundromat will have scent-free versions of all Tide and Downy products to choose from. Tide Laundromat makes it easier than ever to keep your clothes brilliantly clean and your family's skin safe. 

Is there a loyalty program for Tide Laundromat?

Yes! We are excited to bring a Tide Laundromat app experience – and included in the app is Tide Rewards. Tide Rewards is a loyalty program in which you earn points towards free laundry products & services.

I’d love to visit a Tide Laundromat, but I don’t live close enough to the locations currently open. Can you come to my hometown?

We are just as excited as you for the launch of Tide Laundromat! We currently have three Chicago locations open in Rogers Park, Belmont Cragin, and North Riverside, but stay tuned for updates about future Tide Laundromat openings. What laundry products are included?

Detergent, Softener, and Dryer Sheets are included with every load. For Detergent you can choose from Tide, Gain, and Tide Free & Gentle. For Fabric Softener you can choose from Downy, Downy Free & Gentle, and Gain Fabric Softener. For Dryer Sheets, Bounce Outdoor Fresh dryer sheets are provided.  

What type of technology supports a Tide Laundromat?

Tide Laundromats utilize state-of-the-art professional washers featuring a large color touchscreen, quick cycle times with high speed water removal, and a unique automatic dosing system that delivers the perfect wash every time by adding the right amount of detergent and softener to the customer’s load.

How do I pay at Tide Laundromat?

Payment at Tide Laundromat is simple. You can pay at the machine with coins or via the app.  To load money on the app, you can either use a credit card or use the cash kiosk in the store. 

Are there bathrooms and waiting areas at Tide Laundromat?

Yes. Tide Laundromat is excited to offer a fresh, new bathroom design along with homey and comfortable communal spaces that will keep you and your family entertained for your speedy visits in and out of the store.
